India’s star wicketkeeper-batter Rishabh Pant was seen clicking pictures with fans at the ongoing Delhi Premier League. Notably, Pant is a part of the Purani Dilli 6 in the ongoing tournament. In the series, Pant played only one game as he then left the squad to shift his focus on the Duleep Trophy season, followed by some crucial red-ball games later this year. The southpaw made sure to make his fans happy by signing autographs and clicking pictures with them.

In a video doing rounds on social media, the young cricketer was seen delighting the Delhi crowd after a game of the league. He signed autographs and clicked pictures with kids. Not only this, but the cricketer also gave his jersey and gloves to some of the fans. The 26-year-old was also heard telling fans to click pictures with him so that they can share stories on social media. He told some of the fans, “Story daal de bhai. (Upload a story, brother).”

Pant was felicitated by the DDCA before the beginning of the tournament, but he couldn’t have a desired start to the tournament. He played the game against South Delhi Superstarz and managed to score only 35 runs off 32 deliveries. The game saw Superstarz beating the team featuring Rishabh Pant.

Recently, a post shared by the Delhi Capitals captain sparked rumours of him leaving his franchise and moving to MS Dhoni-featuring side Chennai Super Kings. Pant shared a post on social media where he was seen copying the iconic pose by superstar Rajnikanth from movie ‘Kabali’. Soon after he shared the post, fans started to link it with the rumours of him moving to five-time IPL winning team CSK.
