The ongoing T20 World Cup 2022 has been a roller-coaster ride so far. With some of the biggest upsets, the tournament has also given some surprising results. While Pakistan enters the final after being also on the verge of exiting the campaign in the Super 12, England too had a ride to remember as they struggled to get past Australia during their Super 12 campaign.
However, now as we have the two finalists, the Melbourne Cricket Ground is all set to once again see these two teams play after their 1992 clash at the same venue. But with threat of rain looming on the T20 World Cup 2022 final, ICC also seems to now ponder on what might happen.
In a big update coming from Melbourne, the T20 World Cup 2022 Final is likely to be shifted by a day. The finale, which is scheduled for November 13 at the Melbourne Cricket Ground, is likely to be shifted to November 14, 2022 with a reserve day on November 15, 2022.
However, there is no official confirmation from the International Cricket Council on the same, many reports have claimed that the organisers are hoping to shift the final now to November 14, with November 15 being a reserve day.
As per the weather forecast, between 15-25mm of rain is expected on Sunday, and it might spoil the party. The weather is like that throughout the day and showers are likely to mark its presence.
