The Men in Blue are all set to take on Australia in the second Test of the four-match Test series. Both teams began their practice sessions at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi ahead of the second Test, set to commence on 17 February 2023. However, prior to the start of the Test match, the Rohit Sharma-led Team India had to change their hotel.

This big call on change of hotel came on Wednesday (16 February) due to the ongoing G20 Summit and the wedding season. The hosts who usually stay at Taj Palace or ITC Maurya in Delhi had to shift their venue to Hotel Leela near Noida.

One of the BCCI official also confirmed that former India skipper Virat Kohli, who hails from Delhi is not staying with the team. However, it is being reported that Kohli took permission to stay with his family at his home in Gurugram. The 34-year-old wanted to spend some time with his family and thus opted to stay away from the team.

The Indian batter, who is staying at his own home in Delhi was seen travelling in his vehicle to the Arun Jaitley Stadium for the practice session ahead of second Test. A video of Kohli departing after the net session in his Porsche Panamera Turbo is going viral on the internet.
