The fourth edition of the women’s 100-ball tournament ‘The Hundred Women’s’ is all set to take place from July 23 and will run till August 18 in England. The opening match will be played between Oval Invincibles Women and Birmingham Phoenix Women at the Kennington Oval, London.
This league possesses some non-identical set of rules and regulations which are specifically made for The Hundred only. In this tournament, an innings is comprised of 100 balls only with five bowlers allowed to bowl 20 balls in an innings.
Likewise last year, eight teams are set to participate in the event where every team will play eight games in a round-robin format. Last year, Anya Shrubsole led Southern Brave Women to a comprehensive victory against Northern Superchargers Women in the summit clash by 34 runs.
The Hundred Women 2024: Schedule
The fourth edition of The Hundred Women will be underway from July 23, 2024, and will be played till August 18, 2024. The league stage of the tournament will be played till August 15 with Birmingham Phoenix Women taking on Manchester Originals Women in the last league game. There will be an Eliminator on August 17 and a summit clash on the next day.
