Ever since ‘The Head of the Table’ Roman Reigns turned heel in 2020, his rise as a pro-wrestler has been over the charts across the globe. All the preconceived notions of wrestling pundits went down the drain when Reigns unlocked his heel character between the ropes.
As a matter of fact, the reason why Reigns have been on top of his game is that Reigns himself is in control of his character. WWE is notoriously known for writing the gimmick and wanting the wrestlers to cut scripted promos.
However, according to a recent report by PWInsider, the current reigning WWE has plenty of say in his current storyline. It is reported that Reigns and Paul Heyman work collectively on his character, along with Triple H.
Here’s a snippet of the report by the PWInsider:
“Since we have been asked a lot about this of late, Roman Reigns has a great deal of say in his current storylines, including the current one with Logan Paul. We are told that he and Paul Heyman work together on the creative for Reigns in conjunction with Triple H, just as they did previously with Vince McMahon during the previous WWE management regime. It is a collaborative effort.”
Roman Reigns is currently involved in a storyline with the YouTuber-turned-WWE star, Logan Paul. The two superstars will collide at the Crown Jewel premium live event in Saudi Arabia on November 5, 2022.
Roman Reigns was not always an efficient speaker in WWE
In WWE, in order to be a once-in-a-lifetime performer, one has to be fluent in his in-ring skills as well as on the mic. Superstars like Shawn Michaels, The Undertaker, John Cena, The Miz, and many more have mesmerized the crowd multiple times with their words.
Speaking of John Cena, he once buried Roman Reigns with his words. This happened back in 2017 when the two wrestlers were feuding. During the promo, Reigns infamously forgot his lines, and Cena took advantage of it.
Since then, Roman Reigns have come a long way and is dominating the wrestling world.
