Chennai Super Kings captain MS Dhoni thanked all fans in  Eden Gardens, who came to watch the game and support him and his team during the match against the Kolkata Knight Riders. The Yellow Army registered a clinical 49-run win after posting a massive 236-run target in the first innings.

Then in the post-match presentation, Dhoni was talking about the game and expressed gratitude for all the supporters in the stadium. He further described their energy and gestures as a tribute to him.  MS Dhoni said, " I will just say thanks for the support, they came in big numbers. Most of these guys will come in a KKR jersey next time. They are trying to give me a farewell, so thanks a lot to the crowd. "

Further, he spoke about how the CSK bowling attack is firing as a complete unit. Dhoni also praised Ajinkya Rahane, who won the Player of the Match for his 71 runs in 29 balls. 

He said, "Fast bowlers are doing their job, so are spinners in the middle. The wicket was short on one side so we needed to get early wickets and keep the pressure. They have plenty of power hitters, so we had to give the respect to the opposition. 

"I have a clear funda, if someone is injured he can't do anything. You just move on and motivate the youngsters to perform. We have been fortunate that all the guys coming in performs. (On Rahane) We realise the potential of someone when we allow him to bat the way he bats," he continued
