The legendary West Indian gave the T20 World Cup the perfect launch party as he smashed South Africa for 117 in 57 balls with seven fours and 10 sixes to help his side post 205-run target in the first match of the inaugural edition. Though the Windies lost game and had a terrible campaign, the Universe Boss ensured T20 cricket had arrived on the global stage.
