Twitch streamer Zummmers suffered a grave injury while participating in an event called the Balloon World Cup on October 8, 2022. The TwitchCon 2022 San Diego hosted an IRL Twitch Rivals event called the Balloon World Cup where several content creators clashed with one another in a balloon-chasing competition.

During a two-minute round between Twitch streamers Zummmers and GuRL, the former tried her best to keep the balloon from falling to the ground but ended up hitting one of the sofas and instantly fell down. Immediately, a referee was called and Zummmers went through a medical checkup, and it was observed that the streamer had hurt her right ankle.

Upon closer inspection, Zummmers' ankle was significantly injured, and reports suggested that she appeared in a lot of pain. After the incident, the competitive balloon chase round soon ended.

The aforementioned VOD (video on demand) has since been deleted on Twitch. A Day after, Twitch streamer Zummmers took to Twitter to notify the streaming community about her recent injury at TwitchCon 2022 San Diego. In her tweet, the streamer stated that the past 48 hours have been overwhelming for her as she is back home resting. She even expressed her gratitude towards those who wished her a speedy recovery. 

Zummmers further revealed that she had broken her ankle in 'all three possible ways' and that she doesn't go without a bang' "It's been an overwhelming 48 hours, but I am okay and back at home resting. I want to thank all of those who wished me well and helped me when I was down. I appreciate you all. Ya girl don't go down without a bang. I broke my ankle all 3 possible ways," read her tweet.

Zummmers' tweet instantly went viral as the streaming community shared heartfelt messages about the streamer's health update.
