Chelsea have recreated the magic of 2011-12 season as the Blues produced a heroic performance in Porto to clinch a historic Champions League title. It was an absolute masterclass by Thomas Tuchel, who got his tactics absolutely spot on as starting the German duo of Kai Havertz and Timo Werner reaped rewards. The Blues created many golden opportunities in the first half with their pacy attack and they eventually broke the deadlock in the 42nd minute.

Havertz scores a historic goal for the Blues

Mason Mount found Havertz with a delightful through ball who kept his composure, dribbled past Ederson and scored a historic goal for the club. The €85m signing, who had been under pressure throughout the season, certainly silenced all his critics as he repaid all the faith shown by the club and management on him.

Twitter went absolutely berserk as Chelsea went on to win their second-ever Champions League. The fans hailed the Blues as the most successful club in England in the last 15 years for adding another trophy to their cabinet. The netizens were also in full praise of Thomas Tuchel, who took over a struggling team and absolutely turned their fortunes upside down.
