Team India skipper Virat Kohli stole the show with his fantastic 73* run knock against England in the 2nd T20I on Sunday. Along with him, debutant Ishan Kishan smashed his maiden half-century on debut, becoming only second Indian to score 50 on T20I debut. With all the celebration at one end, there was also a moment skipper Kohli produced aggression which left the fans quite frustrated.

Kohli vents out his frustration

It was the half-way mark during England's batting innings and they were going strong, with the score reading 74/2. Yuzvendra Chahal had just conceded 2 boundaries off the last two deliveries of his last over and the Indian skipper was certainly not pleased with the events on the field.

When Hardik Pandya came on to bowl the 1st delivery of the 10th over, Jonny Bairstow hit it towards mid-wicket. Pandya himself went on to attack the ball and threw it towards the non striker's end where Kohli was standing. Although Jason Roy had comfortably reached the crease, the skipper unnecessarily tried to break the stumps really hard. In the process, he lost control of the ball, conceding an extra run.

Although Kohli gave a wry smile as he understood his mistake, the fans were not pleased with him. While some enjoyed the moment, the others were clearly angry by the attitude of Indian skipper. Few people also pointed out that if India went on to lose the match by 1 run, it will be the captain who would be the culprit.

Here is how Twitter reacted to the incident:

However, Virat Kohli shunned his critics as his explosive fifty guided India to a comprehensive 7-wicket win, levelling the series 1-1. The third T20I between India and England will be played on March 16, Tuesday at the Narendra Modi Stadium.
