Former Indian women’s cricketer Jhulan Goswami’s life story will come to theatres through a biopic named Chakda Xpress and Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma will be starring in the movie. Sharma who is also Virat Kohli’s better half is currently shooting for the film and one of the pictures from the set has gone viral on social media.
In the picture, Sharma is seen in the Indian jersey. However, a Twitter user was not too convinced by Anushka’s looks saying that she did not look like Goswami. “Kaun se angle se Anushka Sharma Jhulan Goswami ki tarah lag rahi hai? Bollywood wale biopic banane ke chakkar me Kuch v kar rahe hain. Matlb kuch v,” tweeted the user.
Meanwhile, other users reminded the person that it is not necessary to look the same while playing someone in their biopic. “Arey mere bhai caricature nahi hai acting hai, ekdum look alike thodi bana denge biopic hai toh, actor ko acting karni hai , at some point we need to understand sirf same dikhne se biopic nahi banti,” replied a user.
“Judwa todi hai woh. Context chod ke uupar uupar ka dekh rahe ho… Waise nazariya ki bath hai sab ka alag nazariya hai,” wrote another.
