After finishing the UEFA Europa League 2022-23 group stage in the second place, Premier League club Manchester United are scheduled to face Spanish giants Barcelona in the UEL playoffs in February next year. While Juventus will square off against Ligue 1 side FC Nantes.
Manchester United defeated Real Sociedad in their final group stage fixture, however, failed to claim the top spot in the group standings due to the goal difference and qualified for the UEL playoffs. On the other hand, Barcelona struggled in the Champions League 2022-23 group stage and ended at the third place in the group including Bayern Munich and Inter Milan.
In the UEFA competitions, Man United and Barcelona have faced each other 13 times as the Catalan giants dominating the head-to-head fixtures with six victories while the Red Devils claimed three wins as four games were resulted into a draw. Barcelona have scored 21 goals against the English club while the United have scored 10 goals against the Blaugrana.
In other fixtures, Serie A giants Juventus, who were relegated to the UEL playoffs after finishing at the third place in their UCL 2022-23 group, are set to face Ligue 1 club FC Nantes. On the other hand, Roma will face RB Salzburg while AFC Ajax will take on the likes of FC Union Berlin.

The first legs of the UEL 2022-23 playoffs are scheduled to be played on Thursday, February 16, while the second legs are scheduled for a week later on February 23.
