In a significant development, current UFC Lightweight champions Islam Makhachev and Khabib Nurmagomedov are confirmed to travel to India for a multi-city tour, EmChain, in 2023. EmChain, a content marketing and user base acquisition company notified about the development on Tuesday.

Reportedly, Dominance MMA has joined forces with content marketing and user base acquisition company, EmChain. Both companies are expected to develop content as per the Indian market for the fighters at Dominance MMA management. Managed by Ali Abdel Aziz, Dominance MMA features star-studded combat fighters like Khabib Nurmagomedov, Islam Makhachev, Kamaru Usman, and others.

Widely known as 'Eagle', the 34-year-old Nurmagomedov holds the record for the longest winning streak in UFC history with 29 wins in his weight category. The former UFC champion has stamped his authority and clinched titles across mixed martial arts, sambo, grappling and pankration. Meanwhile, Makhachev is the reigning UFC lightweight champion; with 11-win, he has looked unstoppable en route to the P4P charts, taking huge strides to the top of the division.

Notably, Islam is currently trained by Khabib in the 155-pound category, having previously been under the tutelage of Khabi's late father, Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov.

Reports have suggested that Dominance MMA will kick start its partnership with EmChain as he is sending its representatives, Khabib Nurmagomedov and Islam Makhachev, to India. However, the exact date of Khabib's and Islam's visit hasn't been revealed, but both fighters are likely to land in India in the second quarter of 2023.

In a release media statement, Towqeer Gilkar, CEO of EMChain, said, "Our partnership with Dominance MMA Management is an opportunity to collaborate with the best talent the MMA industry has to offer. Bringing the current UFC light Wight champion, Islam Makhachev, and a superstar with the calibre of Khabib Nurmagomedov to India will be a huge win for brands & fans alike."

"With a chance to be up close and personal with two UFC megastars, the Indian MMA market, which is currently showcasing exponential growth, will only grow in consciousness when the duo visits the country in the second quarter of 2023 for their multi-city tour."
