Indian skipper Virat Kohli is known for breaking all kinds of records in the world cricket. Apart from amazing records to his name, there have been a few unfortunate statistics that has been chasing the 32-year-old for a while. While everyone knows that the batting maestro has been missing out on his 71th international century for 2 years, there is another thing that has been troubling 'King Kohli' off late.

Kohli finally wins the toss

The 32-year-old has had some terrible luck with tosses in recent times. In the recently-concluded series against England, Kohli managed to win only 2 tosses in 12 matches. It seemed like the RCB skipper was not very optimistic about the same when he came out for the coin-flip in the IPL 2021 season opener against Mumbai Indians.

However, the destiny had other plans for Kohli. The fortunes changed as the coin was flipped by Rohit Sharma and seemed like chasing Kohli before finally going in his favour. It was the reaction of RCB's skipper that left everyone in splits. As Murali Kartik congratulated him for winning the toss, Kohli said, "It's unbelievable. Bit of a mini-break helped me refresh I guess, to get back to winning the toss."

Although he chose to field, Kohli was in action as he ran-out his counterpart Rohit Sharma. After the end of 5 overs, Mumbai Indians had managed to score 30 runs for the loss of one wicket.
