Virat Kohli achievements in international cricket speaks for himself as he has a phenomenal career for India and has broken many records in the span of last 10-12 years in both international cricket and IPL. However, despite all his phenomenal achievements and records, there has been some unwanted records for him in his playing career so far. 1. Lowest totals recorded under his captaincy in IPL & Test match:

In IPL 2017 against KKR, RCB team recorded lowest total (49) ever in IPL history. None of the RCB batters ended scoring in double figures and it became a big embarrassment for Kohli and his team.

2. Holds the record for losing joint-most Test matches as Indian captain outside home soil

Virat Kohli as Test Captain lost 17 out of 68 matches overall. Out of 17 losses, 15 have come outside the country which remains to be joint-most for an Indian captain.

3. Century drought in international cricket for 1020 days

Virat Kohli despite being in great touch with bat throughout his career has failed to smash a single century in the year 2020 & 2021. Kohli has batted 83 innings without a century in intenational cricket from 6th Dec 2019 to 6th Sep 2022.

4. Poor form in ODI WC Knock-out games:

Virat Kohli has managed to score only 73 runs in 6 innings at World Cup knock-out matches. Other than his 35 vs SL in WC 2011 Finals in the remaining WC Knock-out games he has failed to score at big stage which has proved to be too costly for Indian side as they couldn't progress to the next stage of the tournament unfortunately. He got out for 1(13) vs AUS in WC 2015 Semi-final game and for 1(6) vs NZ in WC 2019 Semi-final game and in both WC India made an exit after Semi-Finals.
