The P UBG M obile Pro League Southeast Asia Championship Play-Ins have already given some high-intensity matches over the two days. So far, Thailand’s Vampire Esports is at the top of the table ahead of TEM Entertainment and Malaysia’s Don’t Break Dreams to take the victory.

These three teams have now qualified play-ins from the PMPL SEA Championship for a chance to compete in the PUBG Mobile Global Championship (PMGC) 2022. Just like in the PMPL Thailand Grand Finals, Vampire and TEM had some intense battles as their rivalry continued in the play-ins.

Vampire Esports were the favourites in the play-ins after wins at PMWI Main Tournament and PMWI Afterparty Showdown. The last two games were extremely thrilling as TEM and Vampire locked horns for the chicken dinner on both occasions.

TEM managed to win on both occasions but couldn’t overcome Vampire, who was the more aggressive team with nine kills and 11 kills to their name in the last two games, respectively. This led to a first-place finish with 173 points which was just eight points ahead of TEM. Players from the top two teams dominated in the top kill rankings as Vampire’s Stoned picked up 31 kills.

The biggest disappointment from the tournament was Bigetron RA, who crashed out of the competition. The former world champions, which were once the most incredible teams in the region have failed to qualify for the SEA Championship.

Hence this will be the first time, Bigetron RA won’t be competing in the PMGC. Another letdown from the tournament was a cheating incident where Phoenix Esports and Eighteen Plus were suspended for a year by the tournament’s officials as they were caught teaming up.
