In the pre-quarter-final against Uttarakhand, Delhi scripted a fabulous victory. Delhi were reeling at a precarious position; they were 146/6, Anuj Rawat and Pradeep Sangwan constructed a special partnership to take Delhi home. While Rawat was unbeaten on 95, Sangwan scored a blistering unbeaten 58. Delhi would be high on confidence and will be a tough side to beat.
Meanwhile, Uttar Pradesh finished second in the rankings in Group C. They were led by Karnataka, which had better net run rate. Captained by Bhuvneshwar Kumar, who is staging a comeback after a thigh muscle injury, Uttar Pradesh have been quite prolific in the entire tournament.
