Team India clinched three-match T20I series against South Africa on Sunday by defeating the visitors by 16 runs. After Indian bowlers played an instrumental contribution in the series opener, batters stepped up in the second T20 internationals and posted mammoth target at Barsapara Cricket Stadium, in Guwahati.

The likes of Suryakumar Yadav (61 off 22), KL Rahul (57 off 28), Rohit Sharma (43 off 37), Virat Kohli (49 off 28) and blitz cameo from Dinesh Karthik (17 off 7) guided India to 237 in the first innings. Although, Indian bowlers picked early breakthrough in the game, David Miller batted brilliantly as he smashed 106 off just 47 deliveries in the second innings. But lack of support from other batters costed heavily to the visitors as they lost their maiden bilateral contest against India in India. 

Meanwhile, fresh reports are claiming that Virat Kohli and KL Rahul are likely to be rested from the last match of the series in Indore. According to reports, Virat and KL will be taking rest from the match in order to maintain the workload management keeping T20 World Cup in Australia in mind.

Ever since Virat returned to the game, the Delhi batter is batting brilliantly and have played couple of instrumental innings for the side. The 33-year-old played a stellar knock in the previous game as he anchored his innings brilliantly alongside inform Suryakumar Yadav. Meanwhile, KL Rahul too played a brilliant knock in the 2nd T20I and helped the Men in Blue post a big total.
