Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma top the chart of most admired couples in the country. The pair complement each other in the best possible manner and leaves no opportunity to spend quality time with each other. As Virat Kohli has been rested for the South Africa series after a hectic month-long Indian Premier League (IPL) and Anushka Sharma got some time off from her busy schedule, the celebrated couple left for a short summer break.
The pair were spotted at Mumbai Airport as they jetted off for a getaway. In a fresh development, hours after leaving the country for an undisclosed location, Anushka Sharma shared a cute selfie with her husband on her Instagram story. The Bollywood actress posted the first photo from their vacation as they were seen resting their heads on each other.
The couple was seen smiling as they posed for a selfie, Anushka wore a green and black-and-white outfit while former Indian skipper Virat Kohli chose a sleeveless black T-shirt. Notably, there was no caption on Anushak's Instagram story.
Speaking of the couple, they tied the knot in 2017 in Italy in an intimate gathering and have been living a happy life together. While, Virat Kohli will be seen representing the country during England tour which comprises a one-off Test match, followed by three ODIs and as many as T20Is. The former Indian skipper has witnessed a slump in his form as he has struggled to add runs under his belt. His poor form continued in the recently concluded Indian Premier League as he could not perform up to his reputation except in a couple of matches.
Meanwhile, Anushka Sharma will soon be seen in the upcoming movie Chakda Xpress. The biopic is being directed by Prosit Roy and will be released on February 2, 2023. The movie revolves around the highlights of her career, from convincing her parents and breaking the stereotypes to her rise as one of the greatest women cricketers in India.
