Tim David’s incredible cameo of 34 runs from 11 balls helped Mumbai Indians defeat Delhi Capitals and help Royal Challengers Bangalore qualify for the playoffs. All the RCB players were eagerly watching the game and celebrated like they have won the game by themselves. Similarly, social media was flooded with pictures from the celebration.

One of the most viral photos from the bunch was posted by former skipper, Virat Kohli. Kohli posted the snap alongside current RCB captain Faf du Plessis and Aussie all-rounder Glenn Maxwell. The photo was captioned "Feels" with a red heart emoji to go with it. Kohli's post garnered over 150k likes and over 11,000 retweets.

Unlike RCB, Mumbai Indians have had a terrible season where they have won just four games. But throughout this season, their only top performer has been Jasprith Bumrah. The fast bowler has taken 15 wickets. Against DC, Bumrah won the Player of the Match award for taking three wickets while giving away just 25 runs.

During the post-game interview, the pacer talked about his performance and the plan for a bowling friendly pitch. He said, “Nothing special just tried to have fun and enjoyed my game. Very happy with how the last game went. The wicket is quite fast here, there's pace and bounce. But this (pitch) was slow, and the bounce was low. There wasn't much swing, so we assessed the conditions and tried to execute our plans. Whenever you are new to the game, so you need to learn a lot.”

“I try to help the youngsters as much as I can. We tried to help them as much as we can so that it's a good atmosphere (in the dressing room). Improving your game is a yearly process, it doesn't stop. We need to analyse next year and come back strong", he added.
