India’s batting stalwart Virat Kohli had a terrific outing in the recently concluded Asia Cup 2022 as the 33-year-old finished the tournament as the second-highest run-getter behind Mohammad Rizwan. Kohli amassed impressive 276 runs in five innings of five matches at a staggering average of 92 and at a strike rate of 147.59. The former India captain also ended the long wait for his 71st international century.

Virat Kohli scored an unbeaten 122* against Afghanistan to notch up his first-ever T20I ton as well as his 71st international century. The batter had a sense of relief on his face as soon as he reached the three-figure mark. Since that inning, Kohli has looked far more relaxed. Now, as team India's next assignment i.e. a T20I series against Australia is a few days away, Kohli is enjoying his free time with his family.

The 33-year-old was seen having a coffee date with his wife Anushka Sharma in a picture shared by the Bollywood actress on social media on Monday. Now, Kohli has also shared a picture with Anushka wherein the couple is seen posing before the camera under the Sun. “Beautiful mornings,” Kohli captioned the post.

The 33-year-old will be next seen in action on 20 September when India will take on Australia in the first T20I of the three-match series. The two teams will next play each other on 23 September and 25 September in the next two games. Post that, India will host South Africa for a three-match T20I series and a three-match ODI series. While the three T20Is will be played on 28 September, 2 October, and 4 October; the three ODIs will be played on 6, 9, and 11 October.
