India are on a roll on the final day of the Lord's Test. After sensational batting performances from Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammad Shami at the fag end of the innings, India continued their dominance while bowling as well. They went hard at the English batsmen right from the first ball as Bumrah accounted for Rory Burns in the very first over. Shami too in the very next over, got Dom Sibley caught behind the wickets.

As Indian bowlers were spitting venom at the English batters, Wasim Jaffer, who has currently taken over the social media with his creative tweets, came with a relatable picture to describe their condition. He shared a picture in which an individual is seen all padded up from top to bottom. “England bowlers coming in to bat,” he captioned the picture.

India in driver's seat in the second Test

After a nervy start in the second innings on Day 4 of the second Test, India were rescued from trouble by the experienced duo of Cheteshwar Pujara and Ajinkya Rahane. They stitched a crucial 100-run partnership to help India take a lead of 154 runs at the end of the day's play. England started the fifth day on a high with two wickets in quick succession. After Rishabh Pant and Ishant Sharma departed, India found themselves in trouble. But Shami and Bumrah came to the rescue and gave India the upper hand.

Now, the Test match is all set for a thrilling finish and India will fancy their chances for winning it. They have already sent half of the England batters back into the pavilion and are looking for more. After Bumrah and Shami gave an opening through, Ishant Sharma capitalised with two wickets. He accounted for Haseeb Hameed and Jonny Bairstow. First innings' hero Joe Root was also removed by Jasprit Bumrah right after the tea break with a brilliant delivery.
