The 3rd T20I between India and Sri Lanka was set to be a dead rubber, however the match was nothing short of any action or drama in first 15 minutes. Mohammed Siraj, who finally got an opportunity to play, took the new ball with Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Jasprit Bumrah rested for the contest in Dharamshala. And, what a start Siraj gave!

The right-arm kicked off the match with a brilliant opening over, bowling four dot balls before Pathum Nissanka managed to take a single, getting Danushka Gunathilaka on strike. The left-handed batsman had played an impressive 38-run knock in the previous match and onus lied on him to get Sri Lanka off to a steady start on Sunday.

As he got set to face the first delivery of the match, on-air commentator Aakash Chopra told the viewers about the strengths of batsman. "Gunathilaka, pull acha lagate hai ye," he said and just a couple of moments later, the Sri Lankan opener was dismissed after playing a pull-shot off Siraj, with an inside edge crashing into his stumps.

As expected, few fans had observed the sequence of events and hilariously claimed that Chopra jinxed the dismissal for Danushka Gunathilaka. Well, this is exactly what is called as 'commentator's curse' in the game of cricket.

Talking about the match, it was a very tough start for Sri Lanka as Siraj (1 wicket) and Avesh (2 wickets) wreaked havoc in their opening spell with visitors' reeling at 14/3 in 5 overs.
