Having not being able to contribute at all for RCB, their marquee player AB de Villiers left no stone unturned with his fielding to help make the difference against SRH. Defending a below power total of 150 runs, RCB were keen on taking crucial wickets and clinging onto every possible chance to get the match back into their favor.

As soon as the strategic timeout was done, Virat Kohli handed the ball to left-arm spinner Shahbaz Ahmed. The very first ball Ahmed tossed up, which gave full freedom to Jonny Bairstow to send the ball straight to the boundary line. But indeed a top edge from the English wicket-keeper batsman made the ball go high up into the air and AB de Villiers came in running from behind the stumps calling for the ball to take a diving ‘Superman-Catch’ to dismiss the batsman for 12 runs.

Here is the catch:

Shahbaz Ahmed picks 3 wickets in one over

With just 35 runs required off  24 balls, Jonny Bairstow was on strike alongside Manish Pandey, where he tried to send in a message to the RCB spinner. But it turned out to give the momentum to the other side.

After the fall of Jonny Bairstow, the very next ball Ahmed got the wicket of Manish Pandey. And in the same over, Ahmed got the wicket of Abdul Samad as well. Giving only 1 run with 3 wickets in that particular over. In the 2 overs Shahbaz Ahmed has bowled he took 3 wickets and gave only 7 runs. The masterclass eventually helped RCB win the game by 6 runs.
