Catches win matches. This may sound like a cliche, but the line holds true in every aspect. There have been so many instances in the game of cricket when fielders have won the game with a brilliant fielding effort. With the Indian Premier League going on, fans are going to witness many such breathtaking efforts on the field. Although the tournament is in its starting phase, there have been so many brilliant catches already.

While it was Tim Seifert against Mumbai Indians, it was Shubman Gill for Gujarat Titans against Lucknow Super Giants. One of those fine catches came in the game between Rajasthan Royals and Sunrisers Hyderabad on Tuesday when Abdul Samad took a brilliant running catch to send back dangerous-looking Sanju Samson. Samad, fielding at long-on, ran 10-15 yards to his left to catch the ball heading towards the boundary ropes.

Other than this catch, SRH had an unforgettable day in the field. First, they bowled too many no-balls and then their bowlers got hammered all around the park. The Kane Williamson-led team conceded 210 runs in their 20 overs. Apart from Bhuvneshwar Kumar, all other SRH bowlers gave away more than 8 runs per over. T Natarajan and Washington were the most expensive bowlers for Hyderabad as they conceded 90 runs in seven overs together.

Meanwhile, for Rajasthan, all of their batters had their fair share in posting this mammoth total. It started with Yashaswi Jaiswal taking on SRH bowlers inside the powerplay. After Jaiswal was dismissed, Jos Buttler and Sanju Samson continued to find boundaries. It was then party for RR batters as everyone joined the party one after the other. Devdutt Padikkal(41 off 29), Shimron Hetmyer(32 off 13) , Riyan Parag (12 off 9), everyone chipped in. Captain Sanju Samson ended up as the highest scorer with his 27-ball 55.
