Adrian Mannarino, the French tennis player, has stunned the third seed Daniil Medvedev at the Libema Open on June 15, Thursday. On his way to defeating the Russian by 4-6, 6-4, 6-2 margin in their last 16 clash at the ATP 250 grass-court event in ‘s-Hertogenbosch, Netherlands, the 34-year-old won an epic set point, during the second set.
Prior to beating Daniil Medvedev, the Frenchman Adrian Mannarino has taken down his fellow countryman Arthur Fils by 7-6, 6-4 scoreline in the first round. For the record, he has also won the Libema Open in ‘s-Hertogenbosch, Netherlands in 2019.
Notably, during the pulsating round of 16 match, when Medvedev was serving to stay in the second set, he had an incredible rally exchange with Mannarino. Both players covered a lot of territory on the court, trying to win the all-important point. But it was the Frenchman, who had the last laugh, managing to break the serve of the Russian to win the second set.

The fans in attendance at the Libema Open were enthralled by the amazing display of tennis from both Daniil Medvedev and Adrian Mannarino. Shortly afterward, the Frenchman also took out the third set to improve his overall record against the Russian by 4-2.
Meanwhile, later in the day, Jordan Thompson of Australia defeated Milos Raonic of Canada, who returned to the ATP tour after a two-year absence, by 7-6, 6-1 margin. With this victory, the Aussie set up a massive quarter-final match against Adrian Mannarino, at the Libema Open in ‘s-Hertogenbosch, Netherlands.
