Team India continued their successful run in T20Is as they whitewashed Sri Lanka 3-0 on Sunday (February 27), defeating visitors by 7-wickets. Rohit-led squad outplayed Sri Lanka in all the departments and registered a thumping win in all three games. Shreyas Iyer emerged as a standout performer for the hosts as he consecutive fifties in all three games while batting at number 3 and was rewarded with Player of the Tournament.

Post-match, experienced spinner Yuzvendra Chahal held a chat with Shreyas Iyer and Mohammed Siraj on his popular show 'Chahal TV.' While Chahal was speaking to Shreyas Iyer about his phenomenal performance and approach towards the matches in the series, Siraj crashed in and was welcomed by both the players. Chahal, who is widely known for his humour, greeted his former RCB teammate by taking a dig at his golden-coloured hairstyle.

Chahal was heard saying, "Agar aap inke (Md. Siraj) Baal dekhenge to Aisa lagega ki Jaise ghaas ko paani nahi Mila hi aur ghaas sookh Gayi hi (If you look at his hair, it seems like dry grass, which has not been watered for long). Chahal's word left Siraj and Shreyas in splits, while Indian pace congratulated Shreyas Iyer for his match-winning knock in the game.

Earlier, Iyer played 73-run knock in 45 balls to ensure his side won the game comfortably. Notably, Sri Lankan bowlers failed to take Iyer's wicket even once in the series, and he finished the T20I series unbeaten. While Iyer pleased everyone with his superb performance, Chahal too grabbed a lot of limelight for his unique record. After dismissing Sri Lankan skipper Dasun Shanaka in the 1st T20I, Chahal became the leading wicket-taker for India in the game's shortest format. He has now 67-wickets to his name, surpassing Jasprit Bumrah, who has 66 wickets to his name.
