The seven-match T20I series between Pakistan and England is perfectly poised in balance with both teams winning three matches each. Both teams will look to clinch the series when they take on each other in the decider on September 1 (Sunday), at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore. Moeen Ali-led side levelled the series, 3-3 when both sides engaged in a thrilling encounter on Friday evening at Gaddafi Stadium.

After Pakistan put up 169 on board in the 1st innings on the back of Babar Azam's 87 off just 59 balls and a blitz knock from all-rounder Iftikhar Ahmed (31 off 21) towards the end, England batters outplayed Pakistan bowlers in the second innings to win the game by 8 wickets.

Meanwhile, umpire Aleem Dar suffered an unfortunate injury after being hit by the pull short played by Pakistan's middle-order batter Haider Ali. The incident happened in the sixth over of the first innings when England pacer Richard Gleeson bowled a short one which the 21-year-old smacked with a pull short.

While the batter anticipated an easy boundary, the ball struck on the thighs of the Aleem Dar, despite latter tried to move away. Fortunately, Aleem narrowly escaped an injury and was able to continue with the game.

Speaking of the match, England triumphed on the back of an unbeaten knock from Philip Salt, who scored brilliant 88 off 41 deliveries including three maximums and thirteen boundaries in the second innings. Earlier, David Willey and Sam Curran picked two wickets in the 1st innings, while Reece Topley and Richard Gleeson finished game with one wicket each. 

In six matches so far, Pakistan batter Md Rizwan is currently the leading run-getter with 315 runs off five innings, while Babar Azam (281) and Ben Duckett (203) are at second and third position.
