West Indies all-rounder  Alick Athanze pulled off a stunning catch to dismiss  Indian opener Ishan Kishan in the second ODI against West Indies at the Kensington Oval in Barbados. After losing the toss, Team India was invited to bat by Shai Hope. Taking charge, Shubman Gill and Ishan Kishan opened the innings as regular Indian captain Rohit Sharma and veteran star Virat Kohli were rested for the fixture.

Kishan and Gill put forth a solid opening stand of 90 runs when the Gujarat Titans star got out at 34 in 49 balls. Then in the immediate next over, Kishan attempted one of his favourite cut shots against Romario Shepherd. As the ball raced off the Indian's bat,  Alick Athanze, placed at the backward point region, was alert as he leapt towards his right and held on to an incredible two-handed catch.

After this Kishan's wicket, Team India's struggles with the bat continued as they only managed 181 runs before being bundled out at the score of 181 in 41.5 overs. Ishan Kishan was the top performer as he scored 55 in 55 balls with six fours and one six. Whereas with the ball, Romario Shepherd and Mukesh Goite were the star bowlers as the duo combined to pick up six wickets while giving away 73 runs in 17.5 overs.
