The ongoing season of Kaun Banega Crorepati is leaving no stones unturned to promote sports in India. Recently, the legendary cricket duo of Virender Sehwag and Sourav Ganguly appeared on the famous show which was loved by fans across the country. Following the nation's heroic display at Tokyo Olympics 2020, the show-makers have now decided to invite two of India's many stars in the Games - Neeraj Chopra (Gold medalist - Javelin Throw) and PR Sreejesh (Bronze medalist - Men's Hockey).

The shooting of the episode has already been concluded and it will be on air on September 17, Friday in the 'Shaandaar Shukravaar' special episode from IST 9 PM onwards. Both the players had some real fun and entertaining moments with host Amitabh Bachchan which can be seen in the teaser released on Wednesday.

Neeraj recites famous dialogue from movie 'Silsila' in Haryanvi

In the video, the legendary actor can be seen challenging Neeraj Chopra to speak his famous dialogue from the movie 'Silsila' in Haryanvi. Interestingly, the 23-year-old nailed the task to perfection as he spoke the following dialogue - "Main aur meri tanhaai aksar yeh baatein karte hain. Tum hoti toh aisa hota, tum hoti to vaisa hota," perfectly in Haryanvi leaving everyone in splits.

Meanwhile, PR Sreejesh and Neeraj also taught the language to Amitabh Bachchan, making the actor also speak his dialogues in Haryanvi.

Neeraj and Sreejesh also talk about their challenging journeys

Apart from the fun moments, the duo also opened up on the challenges they faced in their respective journeys. In a heartwarming conversation with Amitabh Bachchan, Neeraj Chopra revealed that he could only throw javelin at a distance of 35-40m when he first attempted the throw. He said, "It took me 10 years to reach from 40m to reaching 80m." Notably, Neeraj registered a throw of 87.58m in Tokyo which secured India's first-ever gold medal in athletics.

On the other hand, PR Sreejesh also shared the struggles that he and his side faced following the London Olympics 2012. "We did not win a single match in 2012. When we returned to India, people were laughing at us," India's goalkeeper revealed. Interestingly, the Indian men's hockey team turned around their fortunes 9 years later to win country's first Olympic medal in the sport since 1980.
