Anuj Rawat and Faf du Plessis have been pretty useful opening partners for the Royal Challengers Bangalore. They have provided the team with good starts which have set the stage perfectly for the likes of Virat Kohli and Dinesh Karthik to follow. Whatsmore they even have Glenn Maxwell in their team in the ongoing match against Mumbai Indians.
The two batters added 50 runs for the opening wicket on Saturday but during the course of their partnership, Anuj Rawat collided with bowler Kieron Pollard. The incident happened in the second ball of the 8th over. While starting very late for a run after realising that his partner has committed himself to the run, Rawat ran with all his might and collided with Pollard who was trying to collect the ball cleanly.
A better throw from the fielder would have meant curtains for Rawat then and there. However, that wasn't to be.

The collision does not look much serious as Pollard pulled the batter up later and the left-hander has resumed the innings.
