
A melee broke out during the English Premier League fixture between Newcastle United and Arsenal at St. James Park. The Gunners finally managed to register their second big 2-0 win after a few sub-par performances including a 4-1 drubbing against Manchester City. For the North London club, captain Martin Odegaard stepped up to open the scoring with a long-range strike.
Then in the second half, the Gunners doubled their lead on the back of a Fabian Schar own-goal in the 71st minute to comfortably take home three crucial points. But amidst this win, an Arsenal fan, sitting in the home stand at St. James Park, got into a physical fight as he was seen pushing and shoving others sitting around him including women and children. The was also reportedly throwing bottles around creating a ruckus which lead to fist fight wherein the person suspected was taken off the security.

Reacting to this win, Arsenal Goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale was elated with this performance and expressed that this was a massive result for the team. Throughout the game, Ramsdale made several world-class saves and kept a clean sheet. He also talked about how this win also the perfect reply for what happened at this same venue last year.
"Immense pride and relief, especially after what happened here last year," Ramsdale said. "It wasn't mentioned up until the meeting before we left the hotel. The manager showed us the video of the documentary and we had a burning desire that it wouldn't be the same today."
