The New Year's Day in London didn't go down well for Arsenal fans as their side suffered a loss against Manchester City after Rodri scored a stoppage-time winner at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday. The City were trailing after an only goal from Arsenal during an impressive first-half display from Arsenal, but Rodri pulled off a comeback to win 2-1 in the third minute stoppage time, prompting Rodri to rip off his jersey and slide across the field right in front of the home support.

But, as City's players were celebrating their 11th straight Premier League victory, they faced the wrath of multiple Arsenal fans as they approached close to him and threw water bottles in his direction. The video of which went viral and several football fans shared the video highlighting Arsenal fans' act.

"We struggled a little bit in the first half, in the second half we played more of our game. They did a great game but fortunately, we showed our champions personalities”, Rodri said after the game.

Manchester City moved 11 points in front of second-place Chelsea at the top of the standings, while Arsenal at fourth-place was left disappointed with its collapse.
