Cricket has over the years produced many hilarious moments on the field with players’
antics. The key reason for their success, especially in the Indian subcontinent
have been due to small grounds, and flat surfaces, which have propelled batters
to go all guns blazing, from the word go.
The latest
video which has gone viral on social media, witnesses Team Green taking on Team
Blue in the HCL Software VIP Experience, 2022. The two-match tournament was
played as a joint venture between HCL Software and European Cricket.
In the first
fixture, Green batted first and had a brisk start to their innings. However,
the ninth ball of the innings saw Quinton Norris hitting a full toss towards the
silly mid-on region. It certainly was a tough run, with the fielder being close
to the bowling end. It was the call from a non-striker, which resulted in the striker
running desperately towards the bowling end.

However, on
his way to reach the other end, Norris slipped and fell in the middle of the
pitch. He was fortunate enough with a bad throw from the fielder, which could
not be received well by the bowler as well, which gave enough time for Norris
to somehow reach the bowling end.
This game witnessed
Blue securing a victory, while Green won the second game. Both the games went down
the wire and the result was decided by a Golden Ball.
