WATCH: ‘Broken Bahubali’ Yuvraj Singh gets guard of honour after India Legends win title

Yuvraj Singh and Yusuf Pathan helped India Legends beat Sri Lanka Legends by 14 runs to win inaugural edition of Road Safety World Series.

Yuvraj Singh turned back the clock on Sunday evening and hit a quickfire half-century to help India Legends win the inaugural Road Safety World Series title in style with a narrow 14-run victory over Sri Lanka Legends. Yuvi came in to bat when India were in dire need of quick runs. The Punjab stalwart immediately started making the impact as he smashed a flurry of boundaries. The all-rounder smashed 60 runs from just 41 balls with the help of four fours and as many sixes to take India’s score to 181/4. Yusuf Pathan also starred in the final, smashing 62 off just 36 deliveries, as he hit five maximums and four fours.

The 39-year-old was wearing a bandage on his right leg as he had injured his calf muscle during the hard-fought final. Yuvraj won the Cracking Player of the match award in the Road Safety World Series final and was given a guard of honour by the hotel staff after the team’s title win. Yuvi shared a video on social media wherein the all-rounder can be seen dancing his way into the hotel. Even though he had an injured calf. He danced nevertheless on a song from the film Bahubali.
