Newcastle star Bruno Guimaraes exchanged his shirt with a fan in return for some chocolates after a match against Aston Villa on Tuesday night. The Brazilian star was a part of the Magpies who registered a 3-1 win over the Unai Emery's side at Villa Park. With the victory, the side ended their four-match losing streak in the Premier League. Guimaraes decided to celebrate the victory with a unique idea as he swapped his shirt with a young fan in exchange for two chocolates. 

In a video captured originally on Newcastle's official media channels, the 26-year-old was about to make his way to the tunnel but was summoned by a young fan at the entrance. The footballer exchanged his match t-shirt for two packets of chocolates after which he exclaimed “Yeah”. Guimaraes moved to Tyneside two years ago for a fee of USD 48 million. 

Since then, he made 89 appearances from the club and scored 11 goals along with 11 assists and in no time, made him popular among the fans.

With four consecutive defeats, the Magpies are in the 10th spot in the Premier League standings. Apart from this, the club has decided to let go of a few names to cover their debts. As per Transfermarkt, Guimaraes is one of the most valuable players on the team and has a price tag of around USD 92 million.
