While Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Shami usually grab limelight due to their bowling performances, it was their show with the bat which earned them a standing ovation from their teammates and support staff when they entered the dressing room at Lunch on Day 5. Although Rishabh Pant departed early and it looked like the match was England's for the taking after they even got the eighth-wicket quickly, the team found two unlikely heroes with the bat in Bumrah and Shami.

The duo shared an unbeaten 89-run stand for the ninth wicket which helped the visitors post a target of 272 for England with an estimated 60 overs left in the day. This means that the home team will have to score at over 4 and a half runs an over if they are still dreaming of a win from here. If they are looking to play out the remaining overs, it could be a tough job on a Day 5 wicket in overcast conditions with Indian bowling in good form.

Meanwhile, the video of Bumrah and Shami's welcome after the lunch break was shared by the Board of Control for Cricket in India. "A partnership to remember for ages for @Jaspritbumrah93 & @MdShami11 on the field and a rousing welcome back to the dressing room from #TeamIndia. What a moment this at Lord's ??? #ENGvIND," the video was captioned.

Meanwhile, England have got off to a nightmare start losing two of their 10 wickets in the first two overs. Bumrah, who recorded his highest test score of 34, got the wicket of Rory Burns (0) in his fourth ball of the 1st over. While Shami scalped the wicket of Sibley (0). Joe Root, who has been in sublime form in this series, is likely to be a key batter yet again if the home team are to save the match. However, if Bumrah (34) and Shami (56*) can translate some of their batting form into their bowling, it could be a great Test match win for the visitors.
