India registered a crucial series-equaling win against England in the 4th T20I on Thursday. While the fans are used to see Yuzvendra Chahal interviewing the star-performers after the match, it was a slightly different sight for all the viewers. The duo of Suryakumar Yadav and Shardul Thakur, who starred with bat and ball respectively, revealed some exciting things during their candid conversation.

SKY reflects on his audacious first-ball six

Suryakumar Yadav announced his arrival to international cricket in style. Coming to bat at No. 3, SKY played a fantastic knock of 57 off 31 deliveries, which turned out to be a match-winning innings for his country. However, it was his confidence and fearless approach that became the talking point of the match. Facing Jofra Archer, the right-handed batsman smashed the first delivery of his maiden international innings for a mammoth six over fine-leg.

Reflecting on the same, the 30-year-old revealed that having played against Jofra Archer in past during IPL, he knew that the England bowler likes to keep a new batsman on the backfoot. He said, "I was prepared for it. I have been playing that shot since a long time in local and domestic cricket." Yadav added that this shot was developed during his cement-cricket days and has come to international cricket from there.

Thakur reveals Rohit's advice during final over

With 46 runs required off 24 deliveries, Shardul Thakur came in to bowl and dismissed Ben Stokes and Eoin Morgan off successive deliveries to completely turn the game in favour of Men in Blue. The 29-year-old revealed that he was absolutely delighted with those wickets as it was a game-changing moment for India.

Defending 23 runs in the final over with so much dew on the field, Thakur revealed India's strategy against England batsmen. The fast-bowler told that bowling from pavilion end, he wanted the England batsmen to hit towards the longer boundary on leg side. Thakur also added that stand-in captain Rohit Sharma backed him and told, "Trust yourself and execute your plans. Don't judge yourself by the shots played by batsmen."

Indian fans would hope that Suryakumar and Shardul can come up with another impressive performance as India hosts England for the series-decider on Saturday in Ahmedabad.
