Animals invading the field in sports is a rare sight, but an animal joining the star players in the press conference is even more a rarity. Ahead of the start of the Quarterfinals in FIFA World Cup 2022, all eight teams have their eyes set on the golden trophy and the tournament gets even more intense from now.

Ahead of the first quarterfinal, which is scheduled for December 9, 2022 between Croatia and Brazil, star player Vinicius Jr was called for the press conference. While he took the seat for the press conference alongside a Brazil official, an unusual guest too joined him on Wednesday.

As the interaction was going on, a cat climbed on the table and settled there before it was mishandled and taken off in the middle of the conference. The star Real Madrid player could not end laughing as the feline took the seat on the table.

The Brazil forward also opened on the team’s dance celebrations in their win over South Korea. He said that this gesture was not disrespectful and isn’t aimed towards their opponents. The Selecao are coming after a brilliant run as they beat South Korea 4-1 over the Asian giants in Round of 16.
