Indian Test veteran Cheteshwar Pujara finally scored his 19th Test century after almost 4 years in the ongoing first Test against Bangladesh. The last time Pujara scored a century was in 2019 against Australia in Sydney. Notably, this is also Pujara's fastest century in Test cricket. The 34-year-old completed his 19th Test ton in 130 balls.

Pujara reached the milestone after hitting a boundary. Soon after Pujara hit the century, KL Rahul declared the innings and gestured the batters to come back in the dressing room.
