After posting the legendary picture with Lionel Messi, Portugal striker Cristiano Ronaldo unveiled his new wax statue for the Madame Tussauds wax museum. A massive number of fans were gathered around New York’s Times Square billboards when Ronaldo made a digital appearance across all of them.

Across the billboards, Ronaldo addressed the people at Times Square about a big announcement which will be made by him. He then counted down from seven and unveiled his new Madame Tussauds wax statue with his iconic “Siu” celebration.

While speaking in the video, Ronaldo said, “Hi, New York. What’s up Times Square. Look up on the billboards. It’s me, Cristiano Ronaldo. I have the most exciting news to share with you. Let’s count down from 7. Madame Tussauds, you did an amazing job. I love it. Siuuuuuu.”

Before the World Cup, Cristiano Ronaldo has been under a massive controversy as he gave an explosive interview where he called out his club Manchester United. CR7 was heavily criticised and now he has issued a reply towards these comments.

He said, "Timing is always timing,” said Ronaldo. “From your side, it is easy to look at how we can choose timings. Sometimes you write truths, sometimes you write lies. I don’t have to worry about what others think. I talk when I want to. Everybody knows who I am, what I believe in."
