In a video that has emerged on social media, Crystal Palace manager appeared to be kicking an Everton fan to the ground after the latter was seen annoying him following a pitch invasion. Notably, the playing arena at the Goodison Park was flooded by the home fans after their team came back from 0-2 down to stun the visiting side.

From the visuals going viral, as Vieira is trying to make an exit, a fan holding a phone simply extended his arms in front of the Palace manager's face which seems to annoy the 45-year-old who initially tries to get hold of the pitch before kicking the spectator who fell on the ground.

Visuals of the chaos that unfurled at the stadium show the football strategist walking off after the incident. Later when he was featured in the post-match interview, the reporters were not aware of the incident. However, when Crystal Palace boss Frank Lampard come for a presser, he did speak about the issue.

In yet another video the fan could be seen making inappropriate gestures aimed at Vieira before being kicked. It is also being reported that a barrage of abuses were directed at the Frenchman which caused him to lose his cool.

As far as the footballing action is concerned, Jean-Philippe Mateta and Jordan Ayew's goals had given Crystal Palace a 2-0 lead before the first half but Lampard's men managed to stage a comeback with strikes from Micheal Keane, Richarlison that helped them equalise. Dominic Calvert-Lewin ultimately netted a later winner to throw the home fans in ecstasy.
