Chennai Super Kings captain MS Dhoni has been incredible in his extremely limited role in the Indian Premier League as Yellow Army hopes for another title run. But Dhoni’s fitness hasn’t been at its best so far in the tournament, especially as he has been dealing with a knee issue and is often seen with a knee brace after the games as he interacts with players from other teams.

In the viral clip, MS Dhoni is seen limping as he goes for a run in CSK practice. The news about MS Dhoni’s injury was even confirmed by Chennai Super Kings coach Stephen Fleming after the match against Rajasthan Royals, which Chennai lost by three runs. Throughout the fixture, appeared to struggle while running between the wickets as the Super Kings were chasing a total of 175.

"He is nursing a knee injury, which you can see in some of his movement, which is hindering him somewhat but still what you saw today is a great player for us," Fleming told reporters. "His fitness has always been very professional. He comes a month before the tournament starts, so he doesn't get the opportunity to do a lot."
