On day 3 of the first Ashes Test between England and Australia, a funny incident occurred as the fan wearing the costume of Darth Vader, a Star Wars character, was kicked out from the boundary perimeter at Edgbaston. The stewards were on the scene the moment the protagonist of the space opera multimedia franchise had ventured out of their seat to reach the area close to the playing field on June 18, Sunday.
At that moment, it seemed like Darth Vader was taken into custody by the stewards, which led to the fans on social media reacting with puns and jokes related to the Star Wars movie. Moreover, it was no coincidence that the moment occurred on Father’s Day, something which this character doesn’t resonate with.
