Although the first Test of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy ended in just two-and-a-half days, cricket fans were treated to some incredible on-the-field scenes. As the first Test saw the dominance of Indian players in Nagpur, there was very little for the Australian players in the series opener.

However, Australia’s explosive opener David Warner, who is highly regarded by the Indian cricket fans and has often expressed his love and admiration for the people here, pleased a few cricket fans in Nagpur in his own style.

As per videos going viral on social media, Warner obliged to a fans'  request to do the iconic step of the blockbuster movie ‘Pushpa.’ Warner received a huge round of applause for doing the famous ‘mai jhukega nahi’ gesture from the dressing room.

In another video, which is floating around on social media, Warner was seen dancing near the boundary line and received huge applause from the cricket fans.

Check out both videos.

Besides all the entertainment, Warner had a horrific outing in the first Test as he could only contribute with 1 and 10 in the first and second innings of the game. Warner was stunned by Indian speedster Md Shami in the first inning, while R Ashwin trapped him leg-before-the-wicket in the second innings.

Indian spin duo – R Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja were at their best in the series opener as they collectively bagged 15 wickets in the game. After opting to bat first, Australian batters could only post 177 in the 1st innings, while India piled up a mammoth 400 in response. Indian skipper Rohit Sharma, Ravindra Jadeja and Axar Patel batted brilliantly in India’s 1st inning.

Meanwhile, Australian batters faltered big time in the second innings as they were bundled out for 91, suffering a defeat by an inning and 132 runs. Both the teams will regroup in Delhi for the second Test.
