Deepak Chahar was ecstatic even at 5 am in the morning when he was dancing to the dhol in the lobby. His sister Malti Chahar shared the video of the same, expressing love for her brother. In the video, it seemed no one at the hotel had slept as many people were on the balcony for the celebrations. She captioned the video, “Celebration is still going on even at 5 am in the morning what a match and what a win !! And what a season for our cherry!! @deepak_chahar9 from injuries to victory!! More love and power to you bro.”

In a rain-affected final, Gujarat Titans had set an almost unattainable target of 215 runs in 20 overs but it was reduced to 171 in 15 overs courtesy of heavy rain. Devon Conway and Ruturaj Gaikwad started for the Men in Yellow but it was Ravindra Jadeja who hit a six and a four when they required 10 runs off the last two balls, winning the match as well as the IPL trophy for his side.
