The ongoing season of Indian Premier League has produced some breathtaking moments on the field, with players showing tremendous athleticism in last few days. The grounds in UAE have green and fast outfields which allow players to throw themselves onto the field without worrying about getting injured. Another glimpse of the same was seen during match no. 44 between Chennai Super Kings and Sunrisers Hyderabad in Sharjah on Thursday.

While batting first, SRH were struggling at 115/6 in 18 overs and needed few quick runs towards the end. Shardul Thakur was bowling and the onus was on the shoulders of Jason Holder to smash a few big hits. After taking a double off the first ball, Holder tried to slog a full-wide delivery which was pitched way outside off.

Chahar takes one of the best running catches of season

Although the shot was quite powerful, the ball had only struck the bottom half of Holder's bat which is why it could not sail over the boundary. However, it had flown way high in the air which opened up an opportunity for Deepak Chahar to attempt a possible catch. However, he needed to do a lot of running with the ball way beyond his reach!

As expected from this young generation of fit cricketers, Chahar sprinted towards the ball, kept his eyes on the ball and timed his dive to perfection to complete a remarkable catch. The on-air commentators were full of praise for Chahar, alongside Shardul Thakur who applauded the fantastic effort by his teammate at the boundary.

Although Rashid Khan played a cameo towards the end, it was only enough to take SRH to 134/7 in 20 overs, which is a below-par total in Sharjah.
