After decimating South African bowlers, Team India continued to trouble the visitors as the Indian bowlers rattled Proteas batters in their run chase. The 23-year-old left-arm pacer Arshdeep Singh resumed his spell from where he left in the previous game as he destroyed South Africa top-order in the second over of the innings.

Arshdeep Singh was right on the money from the word go as he stunned the South African skipper Temba Bavuma in the second over, forcing the batter to hand over an easy catch to Virat Kohli. Left-handed Rilee Rossouw came in the middle in order to rescue his side from a troublesome situation, but just like the series opener he was once again hunted by Singh.

However, Singh's second wicket of the match was more of luck than the perfect execution as veteran wicketkeeper batter Dinesh Karthik, who was stationed at mid-wicket with Rishabh Pant handling the wicketkeeping duties, fumbled twice before completing the catch .

The Proteas batter who was out on a duck in the 1st game had a similar fate waiting for him as he got trapped in the two minds and the ball got off the top edge. While DK had a lot of time to position himself, he couldn't grab it on the first attempt.

Nonetheless, the dismissal came as a major blow for South Africa who enjoy an unbeaten series streak in India till now. But the way Team India is firming its grip in the match, seems like Rohit Sharma & Co. will seal yet another bilateral series heading into the T20 World Cup.
