Four-time NBA champion and Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry received a big shout from Canadian rapper Drake at his concert in Brooklyn. Curry has been enjoying the offseason by playing golf as he recently won the American Century Championship in Nevada, Las Vegas.
After adding another trophy to his cabinet, Curry travelled to the Barclays Center to attend Drake’s 2023 “It’s All A Blur” tour with 21 Savage. At the concert, Chef Curry was with his wife and TV personality, Ayesha Curry and his mother, Sonya Curry. The ‘God’s Plan’ singer introduced Curry and his family as the roaring crowd cheered on.

Coming back to the American Century Championship 2023, Stephen Curry put forth a historic performance where he became the first black celebrity to win the tournament in its 34-year history. Similarly, he also became the second NBA to win the event after Former Sacramento Kings guard Vinny Del Negro.
Through this tournament, Chef Curry had some magical moments including his historic hole-in-one drive from a 152-yard par three. Addressing this mammoth feat and his victory, the two-time NBA MVP said, “I don’t do this for a living, so it’s something you dream about. I’ve been playing in this tournament for almost a decade and now I’ve got some hardware to show for it. It’s pretty special.”
“Knowing what the stakes were and accepting it, I’ve always dreamt of a situation like this on the 18th green in front of a crowd like that, to make the putt. You stick to the routine and have so much confidence in yourself … Thankfully it went in, which is insane. I’ve been playing for almost a decade, to finally get a win is pretty special,” he further continued.
