India registered a comfortable 100-run win over reigning champions, England to seal their semifinals berth at the ongoing ICC Men’s ODI World Cup. The Men in Blue continued their winning streak in the showpiece tournament as they beat the Jos Buttler-led side at the Ekana Cricket Stadium on October 29, Sunday.

While it was Rohit Sharma, who did the bat with the bat with his knock of 87, he was equally supported by Suryakumar Yadav for his quickfire 49 after the top order fell like pack of cards. On the other hand, it was Mohammad Shami (4/22) and Jasprit Bumrah (3/32) who did majority of the part with ball to seal the game.
While defending the score, the Men in Blue put up a good show and the same was accoladed by their fielding coach, T Dilip. The coach in the dressing room gathering the team effort and the camaraderie shared by the player, both on and off the field and how everyone stood up for their respective roles, hailing Ishan Kishan, Siraj, Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul.
But as usual now, to make things even more interesting, T Dilip took the entire Indian team out of their dressing room to reveal the name of the ‘Best Fielder’. As everyone stepped outside the dressing room, the Ekana Stadium went all dark as the stadium lit with KL Rahul’s name and jersey number to make this announcement in a unique fashion.

It is to be noted that KL Rahul became the first player from the Indian team to receive the Best Fielder medal twice. Apart from him, Virat Kohli, Ravindra Jadeja, Shardul Thakur and Shreyas Iyer are the other players who have received this award in the tournament so far. The Men in Blue will next take on Sri Lanka at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on November 2, followed by a match against South Africa and Netherlands.
